Last year we experienced something of a mixed bag of a spring – with unsettled weather coming in from the Tasman, made up of a mixture of fronts and highs – and if that sounds familiar, it’s because we’ve had much of the same in 2014!
We wanted our readers to compare and contrast (NCEA style) this year’s October with last – and tell us how it’s faring at your place. We gave voters three options – wetter, drier or similar – and they gave us three pretty much even responses.
“Wetter” came out with nearly 40% of the vote, however, to represent the majority of opinion, as it’s certainly been that in many places, particularly the far north. It seems a long time ago that Northland was in the grips of a 100 year drought…
Watch this space for our next reader poll, coming Monday morning!
