Poll Results: Split the difference

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Well the results of our latest poll are in, and it’s a pretty even split – between those who’ve had enough rain, and those who’ve gone without!

Well, with heavy rains hitting many parts of the parched North last week, we wanted to know what the rain was like at your place – and it seems as though our readers from around the country experienced very different weather!

36 percent responded to the poll question, “Did you get enough rain THIS week?” with the answer “Yes – perfect”, while “Yes – can we have some sun now?” received just under 34 percent of the vote.

Others commented in the nature of the rain, with plenty falling, but in two big dumps, with one commentor Chris saying:
“Had to say no as it all fell at once in 2 big sharp downpours today.”

With a big high over the northern part of the country now, the West Coast and the East of both Islands are the only parts of New Zealand in the rain’s firing line in the coming week, so for the rest of us, remember to check out our next poll, coming tomorrow morning at 10!
