Well, it’s official – most kiwis have had enough of our variable Summer – and are looking forward to Autumn!
In our latest poll, given the underwhelming response to the week before, (where we asked our readers to rate their Summer experience), we asked whether New Zealanders were geared up for Autumn.
It turns out, we are! Nearly 60 percent of respondents are looking forward to Autumn, with just 41 percent of us clinging on to the last vestiges of Summer.
One commenter seemed dissillusioned with the weather pattern in general, saying:
“2014 is stacking up to be a bad one, especially with NE instead of NW giving us droughty conditions, with the East in charge of us. Like Canty having an NW virtually every day of summer. Think I’ll vote Option D – Roll on Spring.“
While another, who didn’t give us their location(!) said:
“We have only had about a week of nice weather.“
Check out Philip Duncan’s latest weather video, here, for the outlook heading into our Autumn, and a bit of potential drought relief!
