Well this is unusual – after hundreds of votes in our latest poll, “Spring storms: love them or hate them?”, it’s a dead heat.

We asked the question after receiving a fair amount of correspondence from kiwis all over the country about the recent topsy-turvy spring weather, culminating in blustery and cold conditions over much of New Zealand midweek.

So we wanted to know how many of you loved the rough weather compared to those who hated it – and it seems as though our readers are split exactly down the middle.
