As Christmas Day is now behind us, we start to get a glimpse of the weather heading into the New Year – and we wanted to know what our readers wanted to usher in 2015.

We asked where our readers were planning to spend the big night – and whether the outlook for the morning of the 1st was going to be crucial to festivites.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, nearly 50% of all voters told us they were heading outdoors, while 38% said they had inside plans for the night.

While it’s still early days, the forecast for New Years’ Eve is not flash – cloud, wind and increasing rain or showers all on the cards.
