POLL RESULTS: 2016 hasn’t been super frosty…yet?

> From the WeatherWatch archives

In our poll this week, we mentioned that April is usually the time of year we start to see frosts increase in regularity – but this year, so far, hasn’t followed many time-honoured traditions.

With higher temperatures and more sunshine than usual this autumn, we wanted to know just how many of our readers were in the same boat, frost-wise.

The results were certainly interesting – with nearly 70% of respondents saying they haven’t had a frost yet – and 9% saying they’ve only had one.

With a further 10% telling us they don’t usually get frosts, it seems this indian summer is continuing around much of New Zealand!
