We’ve had a really settled and dry couple of weeks in the most part to transition from one year to the next – and that trend is set to continue for the immediate future, at least.

With summer properly getting underway and parts of the country starting to dry out, though, we wanted to know how many of our readers were starting to get a bit worried about conditions on their property – particularly farmers in the driest parts of both islands.

The results were overwhelming – more than 60% of those who responded told us they were too dry or drying out – while just over 15% felt they were well placed for the summer.
