Here at Weatherwatch, Head Weather Analyst Philip Duncan is picking a similar weather pattern over Summer to last year – which could mean extended dry periods for some parts of the country.
Spring is typically more unsettled, or varied, so we wanted to ask our readers: how dry has it been so far?
We’re into November now, and some areas, particularly in the North have been experiencing some big, settled highs, producing long hot days.
So what about at your place? Have you seen the “Spring dry”, or are you ready for Summer with a good supply of stored water? Let us know in the poll, and leave a comment with more info!

Much drier in Northern Waikato than we have experienced over the years. Not looking good at all, just hope we don’t have a repeat of last summer and severe drought again

After a fairly typical start to spring, October has been very dry not helped by all the strong winds.
When I dig down in the garden it is very crumbly, having to water like mad!
