Why not cover the Typhoon season in as much depth as you do with the Hurricanes?

That’s a very good question – basically our research from 2008 shows that there is far less interest from WeatherWatch readers in Typhoons than there is for Hurricanes.

Also, the english coverage from weather forecasts in this part of the world is very poor – so it’s harder for us to access information and graphics that are of interest to readers.

In saying that, we’ll cover the biggest storms – such as Morakat that recently hit Taiwan.
