Across America and Canada right now Fall Foliage is underway.
A time when trees change colour as Autumn moves in and brilliant golds, yellows, reds, browns, bronzes, greens and oranges colour the leaves in the forests.
As a New Zealander driving across the US and Canada this time last year it was simply spectacular. I have never seen anything like it.
Here in New Zealand we do get some fall foliage – I’ve mostly seen it around Arrowtown, Christchurch, Hawkes Bay and Gisborne – but certainly nothing like what I saw in eastern parts of America and Canada.
See my photos below from my road trip last year – and to see current images from America check out weather.com’s Fall Foliage gallery.

Once seen the autumn colours of New Hampshire are never forgotten. Magnificent colours from your travels.
Helps brighten up an other wise very gloomy news day.
