This month has been something of a mixed weather bag – with rain, wind, snow, hail and plenty of sunshine too – and it’s not even halfway over!
We receive dozens of photos from readers and followers both here on the site and on our social networks – both Twitter and Facebook – and this month has been so good so far we thought you’d love to see some of the best ones.
So check them out below and please, keep them coming!
This gem was sent in from Rosedale Wines Twitter account, in Central Otago earlier this month – wow!
This comes to us from Chris Johnson in Paekakariki, after heavy rains in the lower North Island at the start of the month…
A beautiful panorama of Wanaka from our follower Peter, @johnnybravo75 on Twitter – amazing cirrus clouds fill the sky…
Another cirrus special, this time from our Twitter friend Rockburn’s Winemaker
This from Auckland contributor Ben Haarmann, and a beautiful sunset…
And this from Sam James in Masterton earlier in the month – some pretty impressive snow clouds!
While this comes from Tiwtter user @wadegr in Lyttleton Harbour – showing a scary looking front coming in this week!
And finally this coming from Phil Lemin in Dunedin early this morning – showing some pretty spectacular overnight snowfall!
As we mentioned earlier, we love getting your weather photos – please keep them coming in, and thanks to everyone who makes our work so much fun 🙂
