Gusty winds are the main feature of the weather in Otago today for anniversary day.
Temperatures aren’t expected to climb too high even though a nor’ wester ahead of a front passing through the province is taking hold this morning.
Cooler southwesterlies behind the front will see the temperatures drop about 5 degrees and there is the chance of a few showers before and after its passing.
Inland is a similar story for the populated areas and Queenstown should see the coolest weather with winds mainly west or nor’ west.
