> From the WeatherWatch archives

On 22 May, 2011 a massive tornado (EF 5 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale) caused catastrophic damage in the city of Joplin, Missouri.  It’s a city of about 50,000 people located in the middle of the continental United States.

There have been many video clips of this tornado and the resulting damage floating around the internet.  But today, new and dramatic footage was released.  This is the view from a security camera inside the waiting area of an emergency room (A & E) of a Joplin hospital.
