A large high is moving into NZ and that means lighter winds, fewer showers but a risk of frost inland – tonight mostly for the South Island and tomorrow night for higher altitude parts of the easter North Island (eastern ranges to Central Plateau generally).
The high moves northwards and eastwards next week and that brings in a milder westerly flow for most places with rain returning to the West Coast but generally drier in the east.
Don’t forgot our Australia only forecast is also out today covering the next 7 days (which we do every Thursday now).
