NZ at a glance

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Temperatures are ranging from low single digits to the upper teens this morning across the nation but not all areas are under blue skies.

Auckland has seen a few showers overnight but still a mild 16 degrees. The warmest centre is Whitianga with 18 and Manapouri in the far south has only mustered 4 degrees.

Temperatures should be near enough to average for the time of year yet again today, with most of the country expecting settled conditions but the upper North island may see a few showers remaining but gradually clearing throughout the day and in the far north this evening.

A change is still on the way later in the week with northerlies ahead of the front and a cooler southerly moving in behind it.
