A large low is moving into NZ but already falling apart. Widespread rain is moving down the North Island while clearing to showers in the north.

Some of these showers may be heavy with even isolated thunderstorms later.

Much of the South Island is dry, although northern regions are also being brushed by this North Island low.

To drill down for what this mean locally – please use your HOURLY forecasts, as these hourly forecasts are more granular for specifically where you are.
