Our videos return tomorrow, just in time for the next snowy change in the South Island – although this one isn’t very intense snow-wise with maximum falls of 15cm in the mountains around Southland and Otago’s border.
High pressure is dominating for the most part – that’s bringing fairly dry weather to our part of the world. Rainfall totals are highest in the south west corner of the North Island with up to 15mm over the next 24 hours.
Temperatures are up for Monday in some regions with temperatures several degrees warmer than average in the upper eastern South Island. But temperatures reset closer to normal over most of the country by Tuesday daytime, although that colder change grows in the south. At night it will be fairly cold tonight in Northland and over the South Island. Tomorrow night will be even colder across all of NZ.
