Nice and easy – Situation & outlook for Friday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

An anticyclone will cover the majority of the country tomorrow, meaning sunny, calm conditions will prevail pretty much everywhere.

South Island

Nothing dramatic to report, other than some light winds in the morning and afternoon sea breezes on the coast – though these will fade away later in the afternoon and should be gone by evening.

North Island

It’s a similar story further north – however Auckland and Northland may be bothered by some high cloud, while east to northeast winds will blow gently across both islands.
