VIDEO: New Zealand’s forecast to Wednesday as another spring blast comes our way

> From the WeatherWatch archives

More gales and rain are on the way but warmer weather too, as sub-tropical northerlies descend across NZ this weekend.

The forecast for Super Saturday (Covid 19 vaccination drive) looks great across the country, although it will be overcast in Wellington and also the West Coast, with showers possible from Hokitika southwards.

Most other places look dry.

Gales develop on Sunday with heavy West Coast rain – this continues into Monday before easing into Tuesday (with a wintry southerly in Southland).
