New Poll: What sort of winter are you wanting?

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Winter is still over a month away but people are feeling the slide away from summer now that we’ve passed the halfway mark of autumn.

Many people have told us they feel “ripped off” over a short lived summer and a very wet (apart from Southland) autumn so far.

We’re in a neutral pattern at the moment – ie, we don’t have El Nino or La Nina shaping our way. Instead we have a neutral pattern…and that, for New Zealand, tends to create a chaotic weather pattern that throws a bit of everything our way from all directions.

This isn’t a scientific poll, we’ve created a few answers just to see generally where people are lining up.
