We are more than a month into spring now, and with the sun making its presence felt around the country, most kiwis are welcoming a return to longer, warmer days.
However, we know that spring and summertime in New Zealand is a two-edged sword, we are lucky here to have clear skies and little pollution, but that contributes to very high levels of UV radiation in our environment.
And even if the sun doesn’t come out, and temperatures stay low, UV radiation levels can still be high enough to cause sunburn.
