Currently with Phil Duncan away on holiday there has been just one of us on duty for the past 2 weeks (Phil back on deck this coming Thursday! :)). While my writing and story skills may not be all that flash one thing I’ve noticed is people really get going when thunderstorms occur and I get a story up in that regard.
The biggest stories while I’ve been on duty have been on the 10th October when a big funnel cloud was seen in North Canterbury, story here.
It generated 381 Facebook shares from our website.
Then today’s storms about Canterbury here.
So far it has generated 215 shares via Facebook from our website.
The answer to this current question may be obvious due to the amount of shares as noted above but none the less. Do you enjoy reports / news items on thunderstorms?
Feel free to put your vote in below or write in a comment with your thoughts if you feel you can’t answer with the suggestions we have put forward.

‘Enjoy’ wouldn’t be the term I use but I’m interested in the particular set up/ingredients needed in different regions across New Zealand to produce thunderstorms and the (potential) weather phenomenons that may come with them.
