MUSIC VIDEO: Forever Autumn

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Over the weekend we took a look at TV scenes where weather generally enhances the mood of what’s happening and today we’re looking at a song all about Autumn which seems to represent the season very well.

Justin Hayward had a hit with this song Forever Autumn in 1978 from the movie War of the Worlds and with this video there are some impressive pictures of Autumn colours and scenes.

For some Autumn is their best season of the year and cool nights and pleasant days are often what applies to our season in New Zealand.

This song is not from a movie soundtrack its from the album by Jeff Wayne – Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds. Richard Burton was the narrator. One of the best albums I have ever owned. The original film didn’t have any music and I don’t know about the more recent film.

Awesome choice of song though for this time of year.
