Most of the country should be mostly dry today with any sporadic falls of light rain confined to the eastern areas of the North island and the southern areas of the West Coast of the South Island.
Temperatures aren’t expected to be overly high today, unlike some areas during the weekend and a belt of gusty winds is expected over northern areas of the nation as an easterly flow takes hold but without much, if any moisture.
March draws to a close this week and the dry spell looks set to continue in the north this week but colder air appears to be approaching the southern part of the country later in the week which could make easter feel rather chilly.
Keep an eye on our easter forecasts throughout the week to see what it’s like in your centre or holiday spot.
