We are well into March and the nights and early mornings are fast drawing in, as we quickly head towards the cooler months. it wasn’t that long ago that daylight saving was extended and pushed back to April.
Last year a number of people commented on our site that they weren’t happy with the dark mornings as they felt it was more like a taste of the winter months to come whereas others argued that it was still good to get home from home or school and still have some evening daylight.
The cooler nights have arrived over some parts of the country but even though the daylight hours are shorter, the month of March can still deliver some very warm temperatures. On average, March is the 2nd or 3rd warmest month for much of the country and can sometimes deliver long and settled spells.
