Severe weather risks may increase today but are likely to become more isolated as we go through the long weekend.
We explain why rainfall forecasts will still change – and how much longer the gales will last. We also take a look at 7 day rainfall – brought to you by Resupply.co.nz (and a big thanks to them for supporting us so we can provide even more content for farmers, growers and gardeners!).
There is NO VIDEO on Good Friday – but, we are back again on Saturday with a special Easter Weekend update due to the pockets of severe weather that may be lingering on..nz

Thanks Phil, not only the Herald / AdvertZB but also RNZ – the Govt’s Civil Defence ‘mouthpiece’ – mind you they still refer to ‘Cyclone’ Gabrielle from 2 years ago even though it was downgraded to an ‘ex-TC’ low 2 days before arriving on our shores.
The ‘Valentine’s Day Storm of 2023’ would be more fitting, and as for ex-TC Tam, maybe the Easter Weekend Storm of 2025?
You’re a sane voice in the wilderness of fearmongering and climate claptrap. Great graphics too. Now I’m off for a surf…
