Monday’s Weather Video – Great timing for soaking rains

> From the WeatherWatch archives

We have plenty of rain bearing cloud about the very dry Upper North Island to start the new week – and just in time too, as it’s become very dry in some parts of Northland.

The rest of the country is looking drier, though a front is on the way for the lower South Island, bringing showers with it.

Southwesterly winds mean lower temperatures on Tuesday, replacing the warmth-bringing northerlies we saw last week – and a return to more average temperatures through the week.
