I think the Alexandra temperature is an error. As John notes, nowhere else in the vicinity was even close (Queenstown = 21, Alex could be 5 or 6 degrees warmer but unlikely to be 13). Most of the Central Otago vineyards (generally in sheltered spots) had highs around 26-28, peaking towards 5pm.

I could be wrong, but would guess this was meant to be a high to 3pm or 4pm of “24” that got misprinted somewhere.

Interesting to see Alex a way ahead of anywhere else in the temperature stakes?
I wonder what other temperatures were in close proximity to Alexandra?

We live approx 8 km out of Alexandra and the high for us this week was 42.3 on tuesday !!
