Mainly settled today thanks to a large anticyclone lying over the country.

North Island

Mostly sunny, north of Auckland may see some cloud. Also along the east coast (Gisborne to Wairarapa) there may be some cloud at times. Winds are light.

South Island

Mostly sunny, some cloud at times along the West Coast. There may also be a few wisps of high cloud. A cold start this morning especially inland with frosts.
