This week kicks off on a fairly settled note with high pressure moving in and showers mostly moving out. There will be a few remaining isolated showers but generally most of NZ is dry.
Winds are fairly light in many places too, although still a little breezy in a few marine/coastal areas.
Temperatures will be several degrees below normal in Canterbury today but tomorrow things warm back up to normal there, while in many other places it will be average to above average today and mostly warmer than average on Tuesday.
Refer to your HOURLY LOCAL forecasts to drill down deeper wherever you will be today.
