Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Areas of cloud, occasional sun. Northwesterly winds.
Highs: 13-14

Eastern North Island

Sunny with light winds, tending east to northeast this afternoon about Hawkes Bay.
Highs: 16-19

Wellington

Becoming mostly cloudy this morning, northwesterly winds strengthen.

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with some late high cloud. North to northwesterly winds, breezy at times this afternoon about Marlborough.

Canterbury
