Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Sunny areas with easterly quarter winds, chance of a shower or two about mainly in the east.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Sunny with southeasterly winds dying away this morning.
Highs: 14-15

Eastern North Island

Morning cloud breaks to a mostly sunny afternoon, southeasterly winds ease.
High: 13

Wellington

Sunny with light north to northwesterly winds.
High: 13

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 13-15

Canterbury

A mainly sunny day after any morning cloud clears, light northeasterlies.
Highs: 13-14

West Coast

Some sun possible this morning then becoming cloudy this afternoon with a few patchy showers moving in. Light northerlies.

Southland & Otago

Areas of high cloud with light northerly quarter winds.
