An anticyclone brings mainly settled conditions today, expect cloud and the odd shower Auckland northwards however in a northeasterly airflow. The West Coast of the South Island experiences a fair amount of cloud today too.

Periods of cloud with northeasterly winds, the odd light shower about, mainly in the east.

Sunny spells and some increasing cloud, northeasterly winds. Chance of a
light shower at times from midday otherwise mainly dry.

Bay Of Plenty

Mostly sunny with light winds, some cloud in the west of the
district.
High: 14

Waikato & Central North Island

Sunny with light winds, tending easterly.
Highs: 11-14

Eastern North Island

Sunny after any morning cloud clears, light winds. Chance of an early
showers about Gisborne northwards then clearing with sunny spells increasing,
southerlies ease.

Western North Island

Sunny with light winds, some overnight cloud.
Highs: 14-15

Wellington

Mostly sunny after morning cloud breaks away, light northerlies.
