An anticyclone / ridge combination keeps conditions fairly settled tonight, a low in the Tasman Sea is starting to edge closer however and this pushes some high cloud in overnight for some.

Auckland & Northland

Mostly cloudy with light northeasterlies, chance of a light shower about some eastern coastal areas by dawn tomorrow.

Bay Of Plenty

Mostly cloudy, light winds.

Tonight’s Lows: 7-8

Waikato & Central North Island

Clear spells and increasing cloud this evening, light winds.

Tonight’s Lows: 3-5

Eastern North Island

A few areas of cloud about, light winds.

Tonight’s Lows: 4-5

Western North Island

Mostly cloudy with light winds.

Tonight’s Lows: 3-7

Wellington

Mainly clear skies this evening, some cloud develops overnight. Light
northerlies.

Nelson

Mainly clear skies this evening, some cloud develops overnight. Light
winds.

Mainly clear skies with some overnight high cloud, light winds. Chance of
some fog overnight.
