Northland
The odd shower clearing this evening, skies becoming mainly clear overnight with light south to southeasterly winds.
Lows tonight: 6-8

Auckland
A few clouds about this evening clearing later this evening. Light winds tend southeast.
Lows tonight: 5-6

Bay Of Plenty, Waikato & Central North Island
Some cloud this evening then clearing overnight, light winds tend southeast. Frosty for some central areas.
Lows tonight: 0-5

Eastern North Island
Cloudy with southerly winds, the odd shower about northern Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne.
Low tonight: 4-6

Western North Island
Mainly clear skies with light winds, some cloud south of Wanganui this evening.
Lows tonight: 3-6

Wellington
Areas of cloud break up overnight, southeasterlies tend northerly later.
Low tonight: 5-6

Nelson
Clear skies with light winds tending southwest.
Lows tonight: 1-2

Marlborough
Mainly clear skies with northeasterlies easing this evening.
Lows tonight: 0-1

Canterbury
Clear skies with easterlies easing this evening, frosty overnight.
Lows tonight: -2-0

West Coast
Mainly clear with light winds, some rain moves onto Fiordland overnight with northwesterlies.
Lows tonight: 5-6

Coastal Otago
Clear this evening then high cloud thickens overnight, easterlies ease this evening.
Lows tonight: 5-6

Southland & Central Otago
High cloud increases this evening, light northerlies. A few spots of rain may move through overnight, more towards dawn for Central Otago.
Lows tonight: 2-7
