Labour weekend is looking good with some sunshine in the early and middle stages but next week, the weather is set to pack a sad once more!
Monday is looking very poor across most of the country with rainy skies and cool temperatures and a repeat bout is likely midweek but a little more severe with icy winds in the south, accompanied by hail and thunder with snow to quite low levels.
In between the ‘wet spells’, there maybe one or 2 clear days but overnight frosts are likely in some central and southern regions which could affect a few vege gardens here and there!.
Parts of the country were spoilt in late July, August and a part of September with a much warmer period and it seems that October, especially in the south, is reversing that trend.
