The team at Weathermap/MetOcean are currently having some technical issues which are causing display problems with the maps here at WeatherWatch.co.nz and our app.

They are working hard to upgrade and fix things – and we apologise on behalf of them for the bad timing as we head into Christmas Holidays!

While frustrating at the moment we appreciate the service we get from Weathermap – and hope these upgrades will fix any bugs in the system for 2014 – and make some big improvements to the quality and display of these maps.  

Also next year these maps will be shoulder to shoulder with NIWA’s shorter term rain maps which WeatherWatch.co.nz will displaying brand new to our readers earlier in 2014.
