Looking at Labour Day

> From the WeatherWatch archives

There’s a mixed bag of weather for the country today.

The majority of the South will have woken to a cool southerly today which will bring with it chilly temperatures and rain or showers.

Rain or showers are also forecast from Blenheim right through to the top of the North Island.

On the bright side these will be accompanied by warmer nor’west to westerly winds and the further north you are the more likely you are to not see showers till the afternoon or evening.

Don’t forget Labour Weekend is the traditional time to get your summer crop underway, so if you are lucky enough to see some sun today get down to your local nursery and get growing!
