More heavy downpours and isolated thunderstorms are forecast for NZ today ahead of further low pressure which will bring heavy rain to the north eastern corner of the North Island in the days ahead.
Low pressure which transfer from the Tasman Sea to the Pacific Ocean side and that will bring in a cooler southerly with showers for the country at the end of the week and into the weekend.
Meanwhile, Australia has Severe Cyclone Charlotte out to the west – and this evening a number of places inland will have temperatures of 40 to 45C.
