It’s all in the east – Weather risks and the place to be today

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The easterly quarter airflow we’ve been expecting lies over the country today, affecting weather on both sides of both islands.
This will lead to cloudy and warm conditions in the east, while the sun will shine in the west.

There may be a few patches of drizzle from those clouds both morning and evening, while an isolated shower may fall here and there about some western hills and ranges – though this won’t be too much to worry about!

Place to be:

Western North Island
It’s going to be warm and sunny in western parts of the North Island, despite those shower risks – and the temperature could get up to around 30C today. Enjoy!
