Is it safe to put out the washing?

> From the WeatherWatch archives

While sunny spells are making themselves known this morning, showers or rain are still in the mix for most of the country.

So is it safe to put out the washing?  If you’re in Gisborne or Napier or on the West Coast of the South Island I’d risk it.  But if you’re anywhere else the dryer or clothes horse might come in handy.

After the major Thunder storm here in the Horowhenua, today was the picture perfect day, plenty of sunsine and moderate westerly breeze.

It works well if you enjoy bringing them in and out between showers.

Yes also beside the fire in the log-burner.
Thank goodness for the AGA as well. The AGA is good for drying clothes as well as cooking.
Temperatures in the single digits today in Canterbury.
