Invercargill, heavy rain plus thunderstorms moving in soon! EDIT 11:40pm – Main risk is now over

UPDATE, 11:40pm: The main risk is now over for Invercargill, a few remaining heavy showers may still move though but they will clear up overnight.
Just a note out there to our weather watcher friends and others in Invercargill, a thunderstorm with very heavy downpours may move in between 10:30 and 11:00pm this evening.
EDIT. Will upgrade this to say these heavy downpours and thunderstorms WILL head in between 10:30 / 11:00pm for Invercargill.
Storms have fired up about Fiordland / western Southland this evening and are tracking in a southeasterly direction
