A northerly airflow tends northwest this afternoon, Tuesday sees a Westerly airflow ease further across the day then on Wednesday some high pressure with a low slowly inching towards the North Island during the day from the Tasman Sea.
Monday
Blue – Some rain about the lower North Island this morning may be heavy, easing by midday. An area of rain slowly moves through the Bay Of Plenty today also bringing a few heavy falls.
Purple – Northeasterlies are fairly gusty about northeastern coastal areas of the North Island and perhaps the outer parts of Banks Peninsula this morning, winds will then gradually ease.
Tuesday
A fairly calm down with not a lot going on, a few showers in the west (mainly morning) in an easing westerly airflow.
Wednesday
Blue – Some rain about Northland swings down into the Bay Of Plenty by evening bringing a few heavy falls.
Watch for a chance of morning fog anywhere from the Waikato through to the upper South Island.
