An east to northeasterly airflow lies over most of the country from today through till Wednesday.
Monday
Blue – Some rain about Gisborne / East Cape may be heavy at times today.
Purple – Winds about coastal Gisborne will be gusty from the east today. Same about parts of coastal Canterbury / Otago however from the northeast.
Tuesday
Blue – Rain about Gisborne eases in the afternoon. About southern Auckland and parts of the Waikato showers develop in the afternoon, some may be heavy then easing in the evening.
Wednesday
No weather of note on Wednesday at this stage however this could change due to potential instability in the air mostly over the North Island.
