InfoGraphic: The Big Picture on Friday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Anticyclonic conditions for much of New Zealand on Friday with onshore winds for most, the airflow tends northeast over the upper North Island.

For the west of the North Island generally expect a mix of sunny areas and some cloud, chance of an isolated shower in the afternoon / evening for parts of Northland and just south of Auckland. A low risk of a brief heavy fall here.

Sunny for the South Island’s West Coast, winds are mainly light with a little cloud about the ranges in the afternoon. The east coast of New Zealand is mainly cloudy, chance of a light drizzle patch or two otherwise mainly dry. Wellington may see afternoon sunny spells.

Not all regions and towns have been mentioned above. For specific 10 day information for your city, town, rural community or island please see the 1000’s of forecasts on our homepage!
