A weak front moves northwards over the North Island during Wednesday meanwhile blustery westerlies cover the South Island.

A few light showers pepper the western side of the North Island during Wednesday, slowly moving northwards during the day. Sunny and dry out east.

Some rain or showers for the western and southern South Island while conditions out east continue to be mainly dry. Blustery westerly winds for the lower South Island.
