A west to northwesterly airflow lies over New Zealand on Wednesday.
Occasional showers for western New Zealand, rain about Fiordland may become heavy from afternoon. Some rain also moves into the Taranaki / Central North Island area in the evening. Mainly sunny conditions out east.
