A band of rain / showers moves from west to east over the North Island on Wednesday with the passage of a front, clearing by evening for most although perhaps not clearing the likes of Bay Of Plenty / East Cape till overnight.
The odd shower starts to move into the West Coast of the South Island from afternoon. Morning cloud may bring some drizzle in the east then afternoon sunny spells break through.
