InfoGraphic: The Big Picture for Tuesday / Wednesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A large anticyclone directs a light northeasterly airflow over New Zealand today and tomorrow.

Plenty of cloud about the North Island today, there may be a morning shower or drizzle patch for the upper North Island. In the afternoon the odd isolated shower may become heavy from southern Auckland through to Taupo, also about eastern Northland. Sunny spells for most of the South Island, isolated showers possible in the afternoon about inland areas, some may be heavy then clearing in the evening.

Rinse and repeat, a similar outlook for Wednesday.
