InfoGraphic: The Big Picture for Tuesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A ridge lies over much of New Zealand on Tuesday however a low continues to affect the upper North Island which brings some rain, gradually clearing away during the day.

Rain or showers clears the upper North Island for most on Tuesday morning then afternoon sun breaks through, showers don’t clear Northland till later in the day however. The odd light shower for the east coast with cool southerlies, drier out west.

The South Island is mostly sunny, some morning cloud about Southland / Otago breaks away.
